Audrey

Fostered by Jenny!
Adopted 07.19.16!

This gorgeous, fluffy one-year old is looking for a loving family! Audrey came to SCGSR very, very sick: our vet wasn’t sure she’d pull through. A few weeks and some intensive care later, Audrey is healthy, happy, and ready for a family!

Her foster mom says she’s “practically perfect in every way”: crate trained, housebroken, quiet and nondestructive in the house, loving, and great with people and dogs of any size! The list of great qualities goes on: Audrey loves to ride in the car–nap time!–and she loves to play with her toys and wake people up by kissing them good morning. She’s always ready for a walk, but she loves resting with you on hot, lazy afternoons as well.

Audrey bonds to her people with heart, and always has a welcoming tail wag and snuggle for new friends. Eager to please and VERY smart, we suspect this girl could learn to live with cats.

Like any teenage Shepherd, Audrey will want to continue her education in her new home, and have a balance of exercise, discipline, and love–lots and lots of love! Her fluffy coat will require daily brushing to stay gorgeous, and she’ll need excellent nutrition to make up lost pounds. She’s so beautiful she already stops traffic on her walks, and she’s a favorite of everyone she meets. We think she’d love an active home, with a doggie friend or two and maybe even some kids to keep her company.
