Abby is a darling, darling little mixed-breed doggie! She’ll remain petite, likely under 50 pounds–and she loves nothing more than to snuggle in your lap! Abby is one of Peri’s Puppies; rescued as infants, all the puppies were raised with a great foundation–Abby’s incredibly well-socialized with other dogs of all sizes, she’s crate trained, housebroken, very quiet in the house, rides well in the car, and knows basic commands.
Abby needs a special home, she is shy around men and doesn’t warm up. While a patient male may be able to coax her out of her shell, she would prefer a female home where she can let her fur down. Young kids move a bit fast for her. This is a quirk of Abby’s, she’s normal and happy in every other sense, she just has her opinions! Abby loves her people, and bonds with heart. Her perfect home will have another dog friend or two to play with and emulate, a place for her to run–she loves to play fetch!–and a loving owner who will expose her to new situations thoughtfully.
Abby is incredibly sweet and loving, and so silly. One of her favorite tricks is to do “doggie yoga” with lots of stretches and rolling, seeing if you think it’s funny too. This lovely dog has a huge heart and will make an incredible companion for the right person. Apply to adopt our Abby today!
