Fluffy-coated and loving, Teddy has blossomed into an incredibly gorgeous young dog.
This massive teenager (95 pounds and still growing!) has a stunning coat and the personality to match. He’s a gentle giant with people; he loves to go for walks and to play. We can imagine him a couple of years from now, a regal gentleman surveying his domain.
As a large and “thinks he’s in charge” teenage, however, Teddy is looking for an experienced owner to help him reach his full potential. He’s strong, and very picky about other dogs. His prey drive prevents him from living happily with small pets, and while it’s possible he could learn to live with a large, calm, female, he requires ongoing training to develop better social skills.
We LOVE this dog–our vet says he’s a very good boy as well! For a home that understands the structure and confident leadership Shepherds require, he’ll be a spectacular dog. His heart is every bit as big as the rest of him, and he’s patiently waiting for his person to find him. Could that person be you?
