Kodiak
Kodiak is a stunning and large 1 ½ year old AKC male who SCGSR just put through boot camp. He’s a responsive and eager learner who picked up his lessons quickly, but he’s still young and sometimes acts like a sweet goofball! Kodiak would thrive in home with an active family that can provide firm, consistent, and ongoing training to ensure that all his skills learned in boot camp stay fresh and sharp. His former owners, who had to give him up because they exceeded the number of dogs allowed by the landlord, tell us he’s good with other dogs and kids, and enjoys chasing hummingbirds! Kodi is somewhat dominant and gets along with well-mannered submissive dogs, we believe of any size. At over 100 pounds and with a strong will of his own, Kodiak will require owners who are experienced handling big powerful dogs, and who are willing to put time and effort into continued training to help Kodi shine. SCGSR’s trainer is committed to working with the lucky family who adopts Kodi. Because of Kodi’s size and energy level, he’s seeking a home with no seniors or kids under 16.
