Adopted 01.11.14!
Thistle (born approx 06/2013) is an adorable purebred who was purchased from a local breeder. She’s very smart, she loves to swim and go to the dog park. She’s currently living with a cat in her foster home, but needs guidance. Thistle didn’t do well with strangers when she first came to SCGSR, but she is making great strides and is becoming more used to being around strangers and has started to relax. Thistle has an alpha-girl personality, and will do best in a home with no small dogs, and with a confident human leader to help maintain the order in her pack. Like most teenage Shepherds, she’ll blossom and thrive with training, clear boundaries, and lots of positive reinforcement And as you can see she’s a gorgeous girl who deserves a home where she’ll be cherished. Did we say she rings a bell to go outside? Did we say she’s already been working with SCGSR’s trainer?
Thistle’s adoption donation includes 3 training sessions with American Canine Training!
