Rest in Peace Max – 01.17.16
We are sad to say that our much-loved Max passed away in his foster home on 01.17.16. While we were happy to help Max live the most happy and comfortable part of his life with us, we are all saddened that he left us so soon. Many thanks to his brave foster mom Michele and her family for loving Max until the end.

Look at our handsome Max! Max is an older gent who as you can see from his original story below, suffered all his life on the streets of Tijuana. SCGSR took Max in, got him healthy enough to withstand surgery, and put him in a loving foster home.
Max is now available for adoption. He is a loving boy, likes other dogs but can be happy as an only dog, tends to prefer ladies, walks well on leash and greats other dogs nicely. He’s good with kids but kitties are just too facinating – so no kitties please!
Max qualifies for ongoing veterinary care under SCGSR’s Senior Adoption Program. Please apply today to give Max the home he’s always deseved. Below are photos of Max from the time we first saw him, through 01.12.16. You can see the difference love and support makes for yourself!

Fundraising for Max has now closed. SCGSR & Max thank you for allowing him the gift of life.
Read Max’s story and please help give Max a healthy and happy life.
