Kaiser is a ridiculously adorable, loving, dog friendly, sable coated youngster (close to a year old) who came to SCGSR requiring bilateral hip surgery. His surgery was a great success and Kaiser is up and running on day five of his recovery. He will only get stronger with time. His foster family reports that he goes back and forth between them seeking affection and basking in the attention he’s receiving. Kaiser will quickly recover to the point he’ll be ready for his new home, and he’s now the proud owner of bionic hips! He’s not 100 percent convinced that the cat in his home has any redeeming value except as a dog groomer, but so far so good. Kaiser is on the small side now (his fosters call him “fun sized”) but is likely to continue to grow. He’s about 60 pounds of thrilled-to-be-pain-free boy. Apply early as this handsome sweetheart is everyone’s idea of the perfect German Shepherd.
