SCGSR takes pride in rescuing dogs from shelters in San Diego and surrounding communties. While other organizations seek dramatic headlines by rescuing dogs from other areas and even countries, Southern California dogs go without help. Today SCGSR rescued a beautiful, debilitated senior German Shepherd girl. She now has a name, Ariel, she has a soft bed and a wonderful hospice foster family. She now has a name, Ariel, and is comfortable in a foster home. Tuesday Ariel will go to our vet for a senior panel so we can do everything possible to make her remaining time on earth happy and comfortable. Be a hero for senior dogs.
