Hawk, his brother Moe and mom Sadie were found stray when the puppies were 7 weeks old, and the puppies started their life off with little human contact. Thanks to his foster family, Hawk is maturing into a handsome, well-mannered teenager. Hawk sleeps on his own bed next to his foster mom every night and greets her in the morning with kisses! Since being rescued Hawk’s hobbies include road trips to the mountains, frolicking at the dog park and beach, swimming, wrestling and snuggling with his doggie foster brothers. Hawk attends obedience training on Saturday’s at Fiesta Island where he practices his sit and down stay, socialization, and even some off-leash commands. At home, Hawk is crate and potty trained, he walks like a gentleman on a leash, is comfortable in the car and does well on road trips. He is hoping for an active family that will enable him to continue his pursuits. Hawk may well be full German Shepherd (though Mom doesn’t kiss and tell so we can’t be sure). Hawk will thrive with a family with large dog experience, who will continue his training and obedience, and provide lots of love and discipline.
