This wonderful, best dog ever, tall, dark and handsome 13 year old was dumped at the shelter when his owner moved. Sampson is housebroken, polite on a leash, and has fostered with cats and chickens. He’s a gentle giant and young at heart! Sampson is good with mature dogs and older children, but would be fine with younger children and dogs, if they are considerate of his personal space. He passed our vet exam with flying colors–only a little bit of arthritis, which doesn’t seem to slow him down, especially if there is any ball-chasing involved! Sampson is very loving, loyal and protective of his people and his home; he’s looking for a family that can provide leadership and security, along with a soft bed and lots of love in his twilight years!
