San Diego Animal Rescue Leads National Contest
Southern California German Shepherd Rescue (SCGSR) is a 501c3 nonprofit that began here, locally, in the College Area over 10 years ago. They are currently in a national contest called the Saving Pets Challenge which runs now until June 1 and provides $150,000 in cash prizes and bonuses to organizations in need. SCGSR is currently ranked 3rd in the entire nation!
This year, SCGSR’s prime focus is on helping senior and special needs pets as this population of animals are often overlooked by other organizations both because of cost and their difficulty in placement.
SCGSR needs our community support to win this contest through donations, spreading the word, and people to join their fundraising team. If you’d like to help the efforts of your local rescue (who has saved not only German Shepherds, but also cats, chickens and snakes too!) please visit their contest challenge page HERE!
Join SCGSR volunteers and available dogs for an adoption event!
