Sierra

Adopted 11.15.15!
Gorgeous three-year old girl is wonderful with dogs, kitties, and people too!

Special Update!

Sierra is a stunning, petite, coated German Shepherd who was abandoned in the 108 degree heat and brought to rescue by a Good Samaritan.  She recently spent a week in a foster home, and she is a true gem.  Her foster thinks she’d never been in a house before: she was afraid of the different types of floors, she didn’t know how to go up stairs, and she was much more comfortable in the yard than in the house.  By the end of the week, she was prancing around the house, proudly sitting to have her leash put on, sleeping on a dog bed in the middle of the house, and giving lots of sweet kisses.

Sierra is incredibly sweet and eager to connect with people.  She leans into her pets, and loves to have her head scratched.  Housebroken, quiet and relaxed in the crate, and alert but quiet in the house, Sierra will fit well into a patient, loving home.  She’s still learning to trust people, but her big heart and wonderful temperament shine through.  Sierra has good social skills with other dogs, and passed her kitty test with flying colors!  She’d love a home with another calm dog to show her the ropes.   She walks well on the leash, rides well in the car, and is practically perfect in every way.  This girl is ready to go home–if you think you might be a perfect match, apply today!
