This darling 3-4 year-old girl came to SCGSR from the shelter, emaciated and exhausted with two 7 week old puppies (Moe and Hawk) she had struggled to raise while living on the streets. Now Sadie is well fed with a healthy shiny coat, and living in a foster home. She is housebroken and rides nicely in the care. She’s quiet and calm, super sweet, she’s great on a leash. Even our most petite volunteers can easily walk Sadie. Sadie is thrilled to love and be loved by all humans who cross her path. Perhaps due to the grueling homeless months protecting her babies, Sadie likes to keep a wide perimeter around other dogs. Sadie would be an ideal dog for a quiet, gentle single dog home, where she can love and be loved.
