My name is Maya! I was rescued from TJ with my sister, we were in dire straights but we’re safe now. I’m more confident and sassy than Dixie, and a bit more independent. Nothing much scares me. I like other dogs and children, and I’m working on puppy things like housebreaking and what to chew. I’m about 5 months old now and I’m spayed and ready to find my forever family!
SCGSR gets lots of applications for puppies. Please feel free to apply, but please consider a more mature dog, who lost their home through no fault of their own, and you can have a pet without having to potty train and have your stuff chewed!
SCGSR adopts puppies to San Diego County homes only, and you must be able to provide for all my needs for my lifetime, including all vet care, training and socialization. Puppies are a huge commitment and you need to be able to get through times when you are busy, if you have changes in your life like school, getting married, having babies and moving. If you can’t commit for 10-12 years, please wait until you can!
