Hans

Fostered by the McGlothlin Family!
Adopted 06.26.16!
Hans is a gorgeous 2-3 year old male, with an incredible red and black “feathered” coat.  When SCGSR volunteers met him, they said “WOW, how could anyone give up a dog like this?”

Hans gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play.  He’s got a happy-go-lucky personality, and a strong desire to be with the pack–he’ll follow you around the house, with a smile on his face.  Crate trained, housebroken, and very polite on a leash, Hans will need a savvy family that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated.  No couch potato, this boy!  He already knows some basic commands, and with his eager-to-please personality and youthful energy, he’ll be a pleasure to educate.

Like many Shepherds, Hans won’t live calmly with kitties, but he’d love a family with another doggie playmate, and maybe some fun teenage humans to romp with.  SCGSR loves this loving boy, and can’t wait for his family to find him.  Can you foster Hans while he waits for his people?  Apply to foster or adopt today!

P.S. Here’s a note from Hans’ foster family!
Hans is having the time of his life in his foster home. He has boundless energy, enjoys running around and jumping into our pool, and loves stuffed toys — to death! We love walking with him everyday and he loves it too! We’re also teaching Hans good manners. He’s a young dog with lots of enthusiasm and zest for life and needs a leader to show him the ropes.

When Hans went to his foster home, we found out he’s nutty for swimming! Have a pool? He would love to interview you!
